Course Description
Formerly PDMWorks Workgroup Administrator, the goal of this course is to teach you how to use the administrative functions of the SolidWorks Workgroup PDM software to set up and manage the system.  A prerequisite to using the SolidWorks Workgroup PDM software is an understanding of the file structure and file referencing used by SolidWorks and an understanding of SolidWorks Workgroup PDM from the user perspective.

The focus of this course is on the fundamental skills and concepts central to the successful use of SolidWorks Workgroup PDM.  You should view the training course manual as a supplement to, not a replacement for, the system documentation and on-line help.  Once you have developed a good foundation in basic skills, you can refer to the on-line help for information on less frequently used command options.

The intended audience for this course is SolidWorks Workgroup PDM vault administrators.

To be a good Vault Administrator, you must first be a competent SolidWorks Workgroup PDM user and have completed the SolidWorks Workgroup PDM Client training course.  Material covered in that course is not repeated in this course.
