What is a BIR?
The BIR is a free consultation that FISHER/UNITECH provides on the client’s behalf. The objective is to understand the value proposition of implementing PLM technology into the organization such as 3D solid modeling or product data management.
How long does a BIR take?
The BIR consultation takes approximately 90 minutes. During the session we will:
- Gain an understanding of business practices
- Understand client-specific challenges related to PLM technology
- Understand the extent to which these challenges are affecting the client’s business
- Understand the client’s vision and path to resolve these challenges
- Identify how PLM can help achieve client’s vision
- Estimate the financial impact of the PLM application
During the 90-minute process, one of our engineering consultants will meet with the key managers in design, engineering and operations.
The Deliverable: We will report back to management a summary outlining our findings, along with an estimate of cost savings in regards to implementing specific technologies. |
