Logopress3 Unbending

Logopress3 Unbending is included in the full Logopress3 die design package, but can also be purchased individually if you are not quite ready to purchase the full solution.  With no formal training, even if you are still using 2D for die design, you can take advantage of your SolidWorks investment to become more efficient and handle the 3D models that you are receiving from your customers.

Logopress3 Unbending brings additional technology to SolidWorks by analyzing each individual bend and automatically calculating the k-factor/bend allowance so the user no longer has to take an "educated guess" as you used to.  Development time is dramatically reduced.  Unbend the entire model all at once or unbend one bend at a time.  Unbend bent flanges, gussets that wrap around the bend, moved center partial bends, springback, extrusions, non constant thickness.....  Very "dirty" models with bad geometry such as uneven material thickness are also handled where no other solution is available.

Unbending is also a great tool for prototype companies that need to quickly and accurately unbend solid models for intermediate forming steps or for the flat blank.
