Position Title: Inside Sales Representative (ISR)
Locations: Troy, MI, Chicago, IL and Dayton, OH
Description: The primary responsibility of an Inside Sales Representative is to identify potential new client relationships in the assigned territory through telemarketing activities. You will sell the benefits of our technology solutions to obtain commitments from prospective customers to meet with a FISHER/UNITECH representative. You will develop leads for a multiple set of Information Technology products. You will interface with FISHER/UNITECH personnel and vendor representatives who will provide mentoring toward goal achievement. You will be measured against key performance indicators for quality lead development and sales that result from them on a monthly basis.
Primary Responsibilities: Through telemarketing, generate opportunities at commercial accounts for solid modeling software solutions. You will call from several sources: incoming marketing leads, industry lists and existing records in the CRM database. You will identify and document critical business issues (CBI's) that exist at the companies you call. You will obtain and document critical information about a prospect's use of information technology for engineering, their business objectives, and key decision making personnel. Your efforts will result in qualified leads to be handled by our outside sales team.
Minimum Required Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years of successful sales qualifying skills
- Understanding of the mechanical engineering industry
- Proven effective communication skills - ability to work effectively on a sales team
- Good communication skills
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office products
