Applications Engineer
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Perform
pre-sales standard and custom demonstrations of the products we sell
- Perform
training in all aspects of the Solidworks product line
- Perform
basic post-sales activities, such as small implementations/project management,
power use sessions, user group meetings, etc
- Support
marketing events, such as hands on test drives, trade shows, tech fairs etc.
- Assist
with basic technical support questions from customers, customer follow-ups and
3D printing repairs
- Perform
other duties as needed and directed by Applications Manager
Skills Required: - Obtain a thorough understanding of the company's products and services, policies and procedures in a reasonable amount of time
- Skillful in operating equipment such as a PC, software and IT systems
- Highly skilled in repairing mechanical devices
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- The ability to negotiate with others and resolve potential conflicts, particularly in sensitive situations
- Close attention to detail
